The legalities involved with having employees can be so cumbersome that they can legitimately occupy a full-time job in addition to the administration burden that occurs.
We started EBR to help small businesses make sense of employment and compliance regulations and create a solid Human Resources (HR) foundation on which they can grow and become more successful.
This naturally led to working with job seekers, helping them navigate the increasingly difficult waters of finding the right job. We don't just help you land your next paycheck, we help you take the next step in your career.
About Our Founder
Krystal Yates is a detail oriented HR expert with a background in Human Resources and Operations. Prior to starting EBR, Krystal worked for several small businesses in DFW with responsibility for HR, Operations, Finance, Marketing, & Management. Additionally, she has been working with job seekers since 2010 assisting in all facets of job hunting including resume writing, networking and interview prep. In September 2018, Krystal published her first book, The Insider's Guide to Your Dream Career.
Krystal holds both the SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications and has completed training with the Dale Carnegie Institute. She serves on the board of Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance, is Trustee for The Longhorn Group of Charities Unit Accounting Trust, is on the planning committee for the annual Wags and Waves Fundraiser, and volunteers with the HRSouthwest annual conference. She also mentors entrepreneurs and start up small business owners through SCORE.
